Salutations!

After traveling and eating out for over a month my body went through some 'growth and expansion'. I needed to do something about it, but was having a hard time finding motivation. I kept thinking to myself, "I won't do this anymore, but wait, the holidays are coming up." I was considering waiting until New Year's to change! I mean after all, that's when we do the whole resolution thing, right?

But why not start now? Summer is over and the holidays are still far enough in the distance. That gives me plenty of time to get in a good enough routine to resist temptation.

Join me! Here's the challenge- Pick something, anything, that you've been struggling with for the last few weeks or months, and make yourself change. The twist? You have to change this habit all the way until New Year's Day. Become a resolute person. To be resolute is to be:

Menu planning

One of our reader's goal is to follow through with the menu planning that she does. Kudos to her for doing menu planning in the first place. The times that I have been consistent in planning, I have saved lots of money. No more last minute trips to the store for that 1 item that ends up costing $20 b/c of the other things you 'have to have'. Here is a link to Menu Planning Monday, just one of many sites that help!
